Slides from June’s meetup on Date & Time programming

June 4th, 2010

If you weren’t here, you missed a great discussion, covering this and more. We got recaps of DrupalCon and Tek-X, discussions about server-side Javascript, and even some Drupal advice. It was a small group but a fun night. Join us next month as we discuss MongoDB and the “NoSQL movement”!

June Meetup – Dates & Times in PHP & Javascript

May 21st, 2010

Come learn about functions and techniques that make working with dates in PHP and Javascript easy. This is more than just the date() function. We’ll cover time zones, date math, and even convert dates to those cool “xx minutes ago” displays.

I’m going to try to get a copy of php|architect’s Guide to Date and Time Programming to raffle off, too!

After last month’s successful meeting, we’re returning to the IIT Rice campus in Wheaton. Admission is $5.

May’s Presentation – jQuery

May 12th, 2010

I figured it was probably a good idea to take the company name off of it, and while I was in there I changed the background to something a little more readable.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our new location! The IIT campus was a hit, and I’m trying to book the room again for next month.
