New location for our October meetup!

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

This month’s PHP meetup is in a new location! We’re meeting at:

Panera Bread
Glen Ellyn Market Plaza (directions)
541 Roosevelt Road
Glen Ellyn, IL 60137

Market Plaza is the big shopping center on the north side of the street. It has a big Jewel/Osco, Blockbuster, Murray?s auto parts, and a Radio Shack.

Panera has free Wifi, so bring those laptops!

I’d like to start with a discussion about Unicode. PHP doesn’t support it natively (until PHP6) — does anyone have experience making their applications work with all the funky characters our clients are pasting into our applications? After that…I’m sure we’ll have the same kind of exciting conversations going as at our last meetup!

Christian’s presentation from August:
